Cow Heavy And Floral is an emotionally resonant narrative short film which – in 15 minutes – tells a compelling story about a couple who is navigating early parenthood, jobs, care, and personal well-being.

Cow Heavy And Floral has already catalyzed dialogue and connection among storytellers, policymakers, and parent advocates nationwide. The filmmakers spoke on a panel with Ted Hope at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival’s American Pavilion discussing their unique audience-building and impact strategy with this film. As the winner of the 2025 OTV Atlas Fund Social Impact Fund, they have hosted several braintrust events with national-level and state-level paid-leave and maternal health policy advocates from 19 US states - and also hosted screenings with employee resource groups as workplace events at organizations. The film continues its festival journey and will have its international premiere at iSAFF Canada in September and also screen at the Lincoln Center, New York City in November.

The filmmakers of Cow Heavy And Floral co-founded Meals About Motherhood, a social impact initiative to engender honest dialogue about motherhood using media as a tool, which has taken place in 15+ cities across US and Canada since its launch in 2024.

Whether you are birthing a new creative project, refining your business, or scaling your impact, a creative cohort season will move you there faster.

Spend nine months with exceptional humans, guided through a supportive and nourishing monthly group coaching.

Hosted by Charlene SanJenko, 2x founder, Indigenous storyteller & intuitive media visionary and Morna MacGillivray, a global leader in transformational education, movement-building, and post-singularity leadership: guiding women to lead from the future they’re here to create.

Our co-learning experience will be complemented on a seasonal basis by amazing guest facilitators in the healing arts, production & partnerships, digital narrative storytelling, AI-empowered community-focused crowdfunding and more. These guest spots will best-match the needs of the group and the availability of our guest facilitators.

"ReGenerative Cohort has been vital for my growth as a filmmaker in the last year. The cohort is a process, a marker, a kinship, a gathering of intelligence  that allows risk taking, which is the basis for sustainable filmmaking. Every month gathering with these women, reminds me to keep going, keep dreaming, and keep doing!"

"The reGEN Cohort helps one to see where their creative self is wanting to lead them.  This group will not compartmentalize your life, but rather show how it is all interconnected, that it is truly the process not the product that matters.  You’ll also likely find your people, and feel so supported.   I feel very lucky for the serendipity of this group, coming into my life when it did.  If you are ready to commit to a new way to bring forth creations in your life- it’s maybe going to be right for you too."
