We’ve reached a plot climax in our collective history.
The question is: How will we be remembered?
- Are we the trajectory-shifters - the visionaries and innovators who dared to chart a new course?
- Are we bold enough to double down, play bigger, and realize the impact needed now for what’s next?
- Are we the ancestors future generations will be thankful for?
- And what fuels us forward?
It's certainly not “fast-food media.”
The Problem: Scrolling Ourselves Numb
Scrolling has become one of the most ineffective, inefficient habits of our time. Aimless. Purposeless. Truly the tail wagging the dog. And yet, it's the messages that we digest daily that directly impact our moods, decisions, and mindset.
How bad does media need to get before we admit there has to be a better way?
The Solution: Transformation, By Design
At reGEN impact media, we believe the answer is obvious: Media role isn't to drain us. Media should fuel us. It can, and it will.
In the Spring of 2021, during reGEN’s earliest days, I participated in a design-thinking Constellation Incubator founded by our now creative collaborator and reGEN Films founder, Naomi McDougall Jones.
- The incubator’s purpose was to reimagine the film and media industry by centering equity, sustainability, and human-first values.
- Its ‘people over projects’ approach invited participants to envision what becomes possible when we invest in creators themselves, not just the content.
- The mission was bold: dismantle Hollywood’s extractive systems and prototype new models to elevate diverse, underrepresented voices.
- It brought together early-stage visionaries and changemakers to explore alternative pathways for creation, funding, and distribution. This experience directly influenced reGEN’s foundation.
Imagine this same intentionality applied to the power we hold in the palm of our hand - the media we consume daily - elevating our relationship with screen time from reactive to proactive.
This is the opportunity reGEN is tapping into: reGEN Media Journeys - organic, curated content matched to your preferences and priorities.
Grounded in Indigenous values, personalized through AI, and guided by Akin, our cultural AI companion, reGEN delivered media directly to our fans as a purposeful overlay to fuel their seasonal rhythm of transformation.
When you experience it, something clicks because deep-down we know its time for an upgrade. We're at a tipping point. We’ve been using media reactively for a decade, and look where it’s gotten us.
It’s time to use it differently: proactively, intentionally, as the daily fuel that shapes our outcomes.
Why Now: AI Meets Matriarchs
AI will define our future. But without matriarchal energy - care, reciprocity, relational intelligence - it risks becoming another extractive system.
At reGEN, we are embedding this wisdom into the code itself, training Akin on a 25-year body of work in Transformation, by design. This isn’t about efficiency alone, it’s about designing intelligence for remembering and flourishing.
A League of Possibility
We’re not just building a business. We’re building a League of Possibility: a regenerative media ecosystem where media fuels better decisions, healthier leaders, and collective transformation.
- Last week I was in Calgary at the Indigitech Summit, the Toast Women in Tech Summit, and pitched at #Impact2025.
- On Friday, September 26, we hosted an intimate late-afternoon reGEN meet + greet reception with a few spots still available.
- On Saturday, September 27, I had the pleasure of accompanying filmmaker Richa Rudola at her first international screening at iSAFF for Cow Heavy and Floral, an impact-first short film about motherhood.
- On October 4, we were pleased to exhibit at the Signals Creative Tech Expo with DigiBC – The Creative Technology Association of British Columbia, bringing Transformation, by design to their Beta Lounge.
As we build this League of Possibility, we're also looking ahead to the global stage.
Technology has made our connectivity borderless, and reGEN is modelling how regenerative media and intentional tech can scale impact far beyond one community or country.
That is why we are prioritizing a presence at Women Deliver 2026, April 2026 in Australia with our partners at Revolutionary Woman Global and Mosaic Accelerator to demonstrate how an Indigenous-led, impact-driven media ecosystem can fuel global change.
By then, we’ll arrive with our first 1,000 fans, progressive brand partners, and a curated marketplace “In the House” that shows what’s possible when media becomes fuel for transformation.
We’re currently fundraising with relational impact investors and onboarding progressive media partners for 2026 opportunities, including our new interactive series, GAME ON! Where Transformation is Our New Sport.
The future of media is shifting. Now for next. Are you in the game or on the sidelines?
Who’s ready to play? #GameON
