There are moments in life when the heart speaks louder than words—a quiet urging to break free from the confines of fear, to embrace something larger than oneself.
“I remember sitting in silence after a long day, feeling that gentle whisper from within. That’s when I first truly began to understand spirituality. For me, spirituality isn’t about following a prescribed path; it’s about discovering that higher part of us all—the part that can observe without judgment and choose love over fear.”
And that is where Kasia Wilk’s story begins.

Connect with Kasia

As the founder of Choice Point Productions, Kasia is pioneering purpose-driven storytelling with her debut short film, Unseen Scars, set for release in 2025. The film delves into the raw and real challenges of trauma, resilience, and the journey toward healing, seen through the eyes of a military veteran grappling with PTSD. This project is not just a film—it’s a conversation starter about mental health, trauma, and suicide prevention that aims to empower audiences to seek positive change.

About the film
The Seeds of Awakening
I grew up with an insatiable curiosity—a longing to explore the unexplainable. Even as a child, I was drawn to mysteries of the mind and soul. I immersed myself in studies of psychology, the paranormal, and everything in between. But life, as it often does, presented challenges that no book or theory could prepare me for. Early in my life, I faced a series of overwhelming trials: a stressful home environment compounded by the shattering loss of a family member to suicide. It was in that crucible of pain that I realized I needed something different—a way to navigate through the storm without getting swallowed by it.
I discovered meditation through an audio program that used harmonic tones to lead the mind into deeper states of consciousness. I remember my first session vividly—the way the sounds carried me away from the constant loop of worries and into a quiet space of pure being. From that moment, meditation became my sanctuary, a tool I not only embraced for myself but also introduced to my clients, encouraging them to tap into that observer within. This practice of mindful reflection sparked the courage to see beyond immediate pain and look for wisdom, resilience, and, ultimately, hope.
Transforming Trauma into Art
The transformation that began within me soon started to shape my creative vision. My filmmaking journey is deeply interwoven with my spiritual path. I see every story as an opportunity to connect with the universal human experience—especially when it comes to pain, loss, and the healing power of making empowered choices.
In 2017, a profound personal loss—the passing of my father sparked the creation of the film production company ‘Choice Point Productions’. I was determined to translate my pain into something transformative.
The idea for the film, “Unseen Scars”, came later in conversations with my co-producer and director Carl Mackenzie. The film isn’t just a story; it’s a canvas of human emotions where trauma, resilience, and the power of choice converge. It follows the journey of a military veteran struggling with the aftermath of conflict—unspoken scars that mirror the silent battles many of us fight every day. Through collaborative conversations with fellow creatives – a film composer and writer/director—we crafted a narrative that doesn’t shy away from the harsh realities of PTSD and the pain of loss. Instead, it offers a gentle reminder that healing is possible if we dare to reach out and seek support.
I wanted Unseen Scars to be more than just a film. It’s a call to action—a reminder that every one of us, when faced with adversity, holds the power to choose a path of healing and hope. In my work, I always emphasize that spirituality isn’t about adopting a rigid set of practices. It’s about becoming more self-aware, more connected, and ultimately, more human.
The Intersection of Art and Innovation
These days, we find ourselves in an era of rapid technological change, where AI is reshaping creative landscapes. While there’s excitement about the possibilities, I believe there will always be an enduring hunger for the soulful, human touch in storytelling. Yes, technology may offer convenience, but it can never replicate the raw emotional depth that comes from lived experience. There’s an undeniable magic in the imperfections, in the vulnerability that only a human creator can infuse into a story. That is why, even as AI evolves, I remain committed to crafting films that resonate with authenticity—films that speak to the heart.
Creating a Movement Through Media
Today, I’m genuinely excited to be part of reGEN’s vision—an inclusive, innovative, and interactive media platform designed to empower women, especially those navigating the many challenges of mid-life. In a time when the media we consume often feels disconnected and overly negative, I aim to offer something different. My films are about sharing real stories, lessons on resilience, and practical insights into mindful living and making empowered choices.
Working with Charlene has felt like a natural extension of my own journey. Her approach and commitment to creating positive change through media really resonate with me. In our own space, we’re not just making films or creating content; we’re slowly building a space where people can see stories that help them heal, question the usual narratives, and feel part of a community that values empathy and empowerment.
I love that reGEN’s work is not about grand gestures, but about offering media that feels real and supportive—a place where art meets life, and every story is a chance to make a small, positive change in how we live and connect with one another.
A Future Written in Hope
So, where do I go from here?
“For now, “Unseen Scars” is my immediate focus, and I’m eager to share it with audiences at film festivals around the world. My hope is that the film will spark conversations about trauma, healing, and the courage it takes to make empowered choices. I’m already envisioning the next steps—transforming the short film into a feature, expanding the narrative, and exploring more stories that reveal the silent battles we all face. In sharing my journey, I invite you to join me. Let’s challenge the status quo, let’s embrace vulnerability, and let’s create art that not only entertains but also heals. Every choice we make, every story we share, can be a beacon of hope for someone out there. Let’s build a future where media serves as a mirror to our souls—a reflection of our resilience and a celebration of our shared humanity”.
